Let us celebrate Mum!

Happy Mother’s Day everyone! Mum took centre stage in the studio this week as families brought in their loved ones to celebrate this special day!

Kalelle and her family came in for a beautiful shoot to celebrate multiple generations including mum Christine and Grandma Margaret! What was particularly special about this shoot was that Christine and Margaret did a photoshoot together when they were younger, and Kalelle wanted to recreate this across three generations!
Love spanning across three generations
It was a wonderful moment capturing the relationship between these beautiful women and their closeness spanning across the generations. It was an organic and natural shoot that didn’t require any props, just the love and smiles shared between them, and the results were stunning!

With such a beautiful selection of photos to choose from, including the generation shots and others with the other family members, Kalelle and her family decided to display theirs in one of our beautiful portfolio boxes!

Creating beautiful family memories was particularly important for Angela, her husband Lee and their two sons Joseph and Samuel, as young Samuel struggles with epilepsy. It was very important to us to capture their close family bond as well as empower Samuel with the hope that he won't let his condition hold him back now or in the future.
Creating family memories to treasure forever
Samuel really looks up to his big brother Joseph and as they are both passionate about martial arts we captured this brotherly love in the studio with some striking poses! We also loved Chase and Yogi – Angela's fur babies! They are beautiful big dogs that are clearly so important to this wonderful family. They are both excellent with Samuel and are always there for him during the tough times, whether it's to enjoy play time together or a cuddle to ease the worries away.

Angela and her family loved their photos and it was obvious to all of us here just how much they mean to them. It was an honour to create such beautiful memories for them and they were overjoyed by their choice of a stunning portfolio box full of photos they will treasure forever.

We also welcomed Emma and Mum Rosemary into the studio to celebrate Mother’s Day with a wonderful mother-daughter photoshoot. They brought in a beautiful tea set that had been passed down in the family from Emma’s Nana and it was wonderful to include this detail in their experience with us.

Capturing the bond between mother and daughter
We created a lovely natural shoot for them capturing their closeness in a relaxed and fun way. As well as the gorgeous tea set shots, one of our favourites was a beautiful shot of them back to back mirroring each other, highlighting the similarities between mother and daughter.  We love creating a variety of images that will provoke different feelings and emotions and Emma and Rosemary loved the selection that they chose!

Variety is the spice of life!

Meeting Jules and Brad was a highlight of our week here at Image Portrait Studio! They were full of vigour and excitement for their session and we couldn't wait to start capturing some wonderful memories for them!

Brad brought in his Honda Shadow and we captured some wonderful racy shots of Jules draped over the bike, creating powerful images that were sexy and very beautiful! We carried on with this intimacy in the studio by capturing the organic love between Brad and Jules, highlighting the passionate side of their relationship that's still going strong after 30 years together!
Bringing sexy back!
They both brought so much energy to the studio and were up for trying anything – the perfect clients! It's was a pleasure to meet them both and we all shared a lot of laughter throughout their whole experience. Seeing how happy Brad and Jules were with their artwork – a beautiful triple set of canvases that captured their raw emotion – epitomises why we love what we do and there was hugs all round after their wonderful experience!

Sara and Ben have been waiting to get married for a long time but they have finally set a date and came into the studio for a wonderful couples photo shoot! Ben wasn't so sure about having photos taken at first, feeling a bit awkward about being in front of the camera, but our photographers are so good at making people feel comfortable that he actually had a great time!

To help Ben ease into the experience we started them off with some natural shots to capture the two of them having fun together. Sara hates being picked up but Ben thinks it's funny so we ensured we captured that hilarity in the studio! During our consultation they didn't think they wanted anything particularly romantic, claiming that they weren't a particularly lovey-dovey couple. But as we often find, experiences change once you're in the studio and we ended up capturing the beautiful love and intimacy that they share.

Capturing that love and intimacy
The stunning selection of photos blew Sara and Ben away and they will be able to cherish those memories forever in their new Portfolio Box!

Another interesting shoot we had this week was Miz, who came in for a beautiful tribal belly dance style theme! Miz has been belly dancing since she was 11 years old and wanted to bring that vibrancy and passion to the studio.

With blue hair and colourful skirts, Miz was a vision in the studio and truly showcased the beauty of American Tribal Style belly dance. Her poses were feminine and beautiful, with a variety of eye-catching colours that brought a lot of energy into the studio.
Energy, vibrancy and colour in the studio!
These photos will be ones that Miz treasures forever and she created one of our beautiful handmade albums with a wonderful selection of photos that will always remind her of her passion for tribal belly dance.

A loving week at Image Portrait Studio!

It was a pleasure to welcome Grant, Chloe and baby Will to the studio last week for a lovely family shoot! Little Will is 6 months old with a cheeky little smile that won us all over here at the studio and was a dream to photograph! Grant is an avid surfer and Chloe is very artistic and uses her skills to create beautiful art out of surfboards! They brought in one of these to the studio and we captured some fantastic shots with Grant and Will together on the board!
Incorporating your passion into your photo shoot
It was important to us to also photograph just Grant and Chloe together as we know that making time for each other can be difficult once a little one as comes along! Grant is in the Navy and brought along his hat to incorporate into their beautiful skin shots, showing off his muscles and the love connection between him and Chloe.
Capturing the intimacy and love they share
It is wonderful to capture the uniqueness of every couple and family that comes into the studio and capture those moments in time which will become cherished memories forever. With so many beautiful images to choose from Grant and Chloe went for a lovely selection of photos that reflect their passions!

We loved having high school sweethearts Shannen and Ethan in the studio last week for a beautiful couples photo shoot! These guys were a lot of fun, and Shannen’s vibrant blue hair really showed off her uniqueness!
Having fun together in the studio
They clearly love each other very much and we had a wonderful shoot capturing that romance and intimacy. As well as some stunning skin shots we also captured the natural closeness between the two of them and how comfortable they are round each other.

High School Sweethearts
Their entire photo shoot was amazing and Shannen and Ethan chose a beautiful acrylic contempo piece of their more intimate photos, as well as a stunning 9-piece acrylic that shows off their love for each other!

Few images captured by our talented photographers last week !

Celebration of love

It was exciting to welcome a brand new Easter baby to the studio this week! Baby Wyatt was born on Good Friday to Mum and Dad (aka Cassie and Stephen) and they came to Image to have a wonderful newborn photo shoot!

At only 7 days old little Wyatt was a darling to have in the studio and was very easy-going and well-behaved! We got some lovely shots of him snuggled up on the fur blankets we have, as well as beautiful photos capturing the whole family together.
The bond between father and son
Dad Stephen has lots of fantastic tattoos and we captured some wonderful shots contrasting these with the vulnerability and innocence of baby Wyatt, showing the close bond that has already formed between father and son. Such a close bond in fact that Wyatt felt comfortable enough pooing on Dad in the studio!! Talk about an action shot!

The happy family had such a beautiful selection of photos to choose from, and they will now be able to treasure these at home in one of our albums!

It was also a pleasure to welcome South African couple Anita and Erika to Image Portrait Studio this week along with their two Jack Russells - Starbuck and Meelix! Anita and Erika have known each other a long time and do lots of activities together such as tandem cycling and karate!

Pets are always an important part of the family and we showed that bond by creating some lovely group shots of the 4 of them all together, enjoying being in each others company.
Love shared in a happy family
As well as this, we wanted to capture the closeness and love between Anita and Erika and we spent some time focusing on the happy couple. We love it when couples are open to trying skin shots as the results are truly beautiful and highlights their passion for each other in an intimate yet tasteful way.

Once again, there was such a wonderful range of photos to choose and Anita and Erika created a stunning portfolio box of memories to love forever!

Another happy couple we had the pleasure of meeting this week were Bradley and Emma who came to the studio looking for some wonderful couple photos. Originally from the UK, these guys are now settled over here and have been married for a year.

They brought in their decorative wedding cake base layer to include in the shoot and it was clear to see that the love they share is still as strong as ever! We captured this by letting them look at each other rather than at the camera and their connection shows instantly, along with their matching smiles!

As in love as on their wedding day!
With this photo as the centrepiece, Emma and Bradley created a sensational acrylic 'Contempo' piece of 5 beautiful photos, that will be a perfect addition to their home!

All of our clients have so much love for one another, whether it is between a couple, a parent and child, or a whole family - pets included! In turn, we love to capture this and turn that closeness into art that they can treasure forever!

Happy Easter from Image Portrait Studio!

Easter is a time to spend with loved ones and celebrate being a family, and we had some wonderful people in Image Portrait Studio this week! Here are just a few of our favourite moments!

It was a pleasure to welcome Eldric, Reinallen and Renai to the studio last week to celebrate Renai's upcoming first birthday! Little Renai was a dream to have in the studio, with his cheeky little smile and bags of personality! He was a bundle of joy who clearly adores his Mum and Dad and there was a lot of giggling in the studio from everyone involved!

They were such a wonderful family and it was clear to everyone how much they all love each other. Eldric and Reinallen were in matching 'Super man' and 'Wonder girl' t-shirts, and it's only a matter of time before little Renai has one of his own! It was a real pleasure to photograph such a happy family and we captured the closeness between them all beautifully.
Happy Families
With so many photos to choose from they left with a stunning 'Classico Canvas 4 Series' of family photographs, plus an additional canvas of Renai to showcase at his birthday party next month!

We also had Vanita and the marvellous Grover visit our studio for a 'Mum and Pup' shoot! Grover is a young labradoodle with bundles of energy and a fun loving personality! It was so much fun to have him in the studio and he stole all our hearts with his cute little face! He clear adores Vanita and they have a lot of love to share and a very close bond.

We got Vanita and Grover to lie together on the floor next to each other and just be natural so we could capture the real closeness of their relationship. Watching how they can communicate with each other with just a look was a real privilege and goes to show that families come in all shapes and sizes, and that even those who don't share a language can still share a heart.

Best friends
With so many photos to choose from Vanita went for one of our beautiful albums full of memories that she is going to treasure forever. Just like children, young pups such as Grover inevitably grow up and we think it is so important to capture those moments before they have passed by to create lasting memories.

Seeing how happy our work makes people and being able to create these timeless memories is so worthwhile and is exactly why we love what we do here at Image Portrait Studio!
